Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret group.
The questline focuses on "strange tests and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Material
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an unique katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
