Relatives of a young boy who sustained severe wounds after getting pushed from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern have revealed their "courageous fighter" has achieved his target of being able to swim, run, and jump again.

The young child was six when he was hurled from a ledge by a youth, previously seventeen.

He, who was on holiday with his parents in the summer of 2019 when assaulted, lived through a 98-foot plunge but suffered significant harm, such as a brain hemorrhage and broken bones.

His family stated in an update on a crowdfunding page, they were happy that he had been successful to progress with his running, jumping and swimming before his forthcoming procedure.

"He is unable to do it like youngsters his age, certainly, but we are unable to portray his movements in another manner than by saying it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It varies, merely across a short distance or a low level, but it's an amazing achievement."

The child, who endured months in critical care, has continued to build mental stamina.

His family said although his recall abilities were still very limited, they were operational and advancing, so he was "acquiring a general knowledge at his rate, which increasingly allows him to be integrated with other children."

'Objective Met'

The family continued: "He's also maturing, and because of his therapy with the movement specialist, he now allows himself to relax."

"Earlier, to compensate for his disability on the left side, he kept his right part continuously stiff, which resulted in suffering."

"Today, our growing child (we have to face the facts, he's not a little boy anymore) has realized that he must to allow himself breaks; we need to remind him less."

Additionally, he has accomplished a long-held objective with dad: "Since we reside a couple of miles from the ocean, they had established their final goal of having a outdoor meal at the seaside and then going home."

"After a number of step-by-step practice runs, they finally completed their two-and-a-half-hour journey. They came back weary but thrilled. Objective met."

After a court case at the central criminal court, the adolescent was sentenced of murder attempt and was imprisoned in two thousand twenty for a minimum of 15 years.
